Hello Friends,

I just wanted to know about WES ECA.

What is the meaning of "Secondary school diploma and diploma (two years)"

because as I guess Secondary school diploma is "diploma graduate in Canada" and another diploma in engineering is "post graduate diploma".

please correct me if I am wrong.

also, how much point can be considered for Saskatchewan for "Secondary school diploma and diploma (two years)"

Thanks

No - secondary school diploma does not mean diploma in Canada. Secondary school diploma is high school.

So you get points for having one diploma only.

canadavisa site page eligibility-requirements-for-the-saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program-sinp. html

eligibility for Secondary school diploma and diploma (two years)

is 15 or 20?

How much point can be earned from WES assessment of "diploma and diploma (two years)"

A: EDUCATION AND TRAINING Points

Master’s or Doctorate degree - 23
University Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 3 year program) - 20
Trade Certification (equivalent to Saskatchewan journey person and approved by the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trades Certification Commission) - 20
Degree, diploma or certificate (minimum 2 year program) - 15
Degree, diploma or certificate (minimum 1 year program of study, or equivalent to a trade certificate. - 12

India(10secondary +2higher secondory) = Diploma Graduate in Canada

and

India (Diploma Engineering 3 Years) = Diploma (2 years) in Canada.

so, when you complete WES, it will be "diploma and diploma (two years)"

My ECA by WES says

Canadian Equivalency Summary: Batchelor's degree (3 years)

Credential 1)
Secondary school diploma and diploma 2 years

Credential 2)
Batchelor's degree (3 years)

Do i qualify for "two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees" ?

If not why ?

Secondary school isn't considered a diploma. What do they say on the first page of wes where they mention the overall equivalency?

My view is, if i wouldnt have had credential 2, then my overall Canadian Equivalency Summary would have been Secondary school diploma and diploma.

But since i have credential 2, then i should qualify for 'two or more diplomas or degrees'.

Where m i wrong technically ?

You only have a bachelor, it's clear. Secondary school is not a diploma. You can only claim points for bachelor degree

you actually didn't even need to send your secondary school information for assessment, they're kind of pointless once you get a university degree

Hi,

My overall Canadian Equivalency says Diploma(2 years) and Bechelor's Degree (4 years). Please let me know if I am eligible to select the 'Two or moe certificate....' option for my CRS score calculation.

Thanks

Do you get any points if you completed a Canadian Highschool Diploma?

You won't get any additional points. Your education in Canada needs to be post secondary to get additional points.
