so in my case, I have qualified in 2007 Transcript from college for year 1, year 2 and year 3 is required?
Hi everyone. I want to share my experience here.

As suggested by senior members of group i applied to wes for my wife's ECA.
For her b. Com degree from MU

1) I collected 1&2 year marksheets attested and transcripts from college in a sealed envelope
2) i further got 3rd year (university yr) marksheets and degree certificate attested plus college transcript of 3rd yr issued by college and attested by MU in sealed envelope

Moreover i provided them a letter of explanation regarding name change post marriage.

Her docs got accepted within a week of their receipt. Thanks to @Zagoclins and Mr Makarand for your proper guidance
I got my transcript of FY ,SY & TYBA and attested copies of FY & SY marksheets in a sealed, stamped, signed envelope from my college.
I opened one of my transcript envelopes and took it to Mumbai University for attestation along with copies of my FY, SY &TY marksheets, passing and degree certificates. So they attested all my documents.
My confusion is should I send the sealed envelope which contains my three years transcript along with my FY and SY attested mark sheets given by college . The reason being my college is not among the autonomous college list of WES.( Wes is not gonna accept it)
So should I send only the ones attested by Mumbai University as all the required documents are attested by MU anyway.
Pls advice.

Do we needs to do it from Churchgate only or we can go to Kalina (Santacruz) also?

Here is what I did.

I took photocopies of my Bcom and MMS marksheets, convocations and provisional degree and I went to churcgate campus for attestation. They returned all the copies in 2 days. (Ensure you take 2 sets and 2 A4 size envelopes).
I mailed the attested the documents in the university sealed envelope to WES and my documents were accepted by them. My report is due on 5th October. No transcripts are required for degrees from Mumbai University

Hope this helps!
Hi Cjain,
I have done my B.E from mumbai university in 2011. I am currently applying for ECA via WES. As per the new procedure , mumbai university has to directly send the marksheet. In my case, the 1st and 4th year was conducted by mumbai university, whereas the 2nd and 3rd year was conducted by college. In this case also, would a transcript be required?
Please could you guide me on the new process, since you mentioned that transcripts are only needed if your degree is older than a decade

Hi Zag, I have completed by B.Pharm from Mumbai University in 2003. Please help us understand better around below queries:

1. My degree is more than 10 years old: so which branch of MU to collect the transcripts from: Churchgate or Kalina?
2. Do I need bona fide certificate from my college from where i studies by B.Pharm?
3. Do I need to collect attested copies of my marksheets and degree certificate?
4. What does a college provided transcript look like?
5. Do we need Convocation certificates in this entire process?
6. My college is not autonomous, so will transcripts from the college be accepted if directly sent to WES?
7. Will marksheets of failure attempts be required for attestation purpose?

THANKS!

Hey Buddy,

Thanks for explaining the complete process multiple times in this thread. Following is my case:

My wife started her BA from Institute of Distance Education (affiliated from the University of Mumbai) in the year 2006 and gave her first and second-year exams in 2007 and 2008 respectively. Due to the family situation, she could not give her final year exam in 2009; however, passed her third-year exam in 2012. I have the following documents:

  1. FY Mark Sheet.
  2. FY Passing Certificate.
  3. SY Mark Sheet.
  4. SY Passing Certificate.
  5. TY Mark Sheet
  6. BA Passing Certificate (Degree)

So, according to your previous post, we need not get the transcript(s) since the passing year is less than 10 years ago. We just need to go to the Churchgate office [Vidyapeeth Vidyarthi Bhavan (near Sydenham)] with 2 Envelops having a set of above-mentioned documents each. One envelop will have the WES provided Reference Number and address mentioned on it, and the other will be for the MU reference/Recordkeeping. Once submitted, we will get WES Envelop back (after a week) with all the inside documents attested and envelop stamped with University seal and address.

Queries:
1. Are there any additional documents required apart from those mentioned above to be attested?
2. What is the procedure to send the documents to WES (post new rule 1st December 2018)?

Someone in a different thread mentioned the following:

step 2
Get the transcript along with WES OFFICAL DOCUMENT and send directly to WES from University campus Indian speed post. Please check that the cover is sealed and signed by University and write WES NUMBER AND ADDRESS.

step 3
You could send the normal air mail for rs160 or speed post for rs1500 in the post office within campus so that Wes acknowledges that it is sent from University itself and not individual.

Does anyone have any idea about this?

Looking forward to a prompt reply.

Thanks.

HI All,
This is my status as of now:

Status: In progress
We are reviewing your evaluation report.

Status last updated: 3/11/2019
Pending

Evaluation in Progress

Your evaluation is in progress. You are not required to do anything at this time.
Your evaluation is due for completion on 3/29/2019

Does this mean that there wont be any further delays like verification with university etc?
Additionally there are some issues with my name, for which i had provided an attested document from embassy of India in Qatar, does the above status mean that the name issue is cleared as well?

Thanks in advance.

Get the BMM first two years marksheets attested (stamped sealed ) by college. Wes will accept it. Most colleges are aware of this procedure. Tell them it's for higher studies, they'll know. Only get your third year and final passing degree and/or convocation attested by univ. please note All documents for both college and university will HAVE TO BE IN SEALED ENVELOPES. Wes will reject if u simply send them loose attested documents. So now u have two envelopes - one for college (fy +sy) & one for univ (ty+ degree) .. put both in one big envelope and send to Wes. Make sure Wes ref no is on all 3 envelopes. Good luck
I have a doubt here. I did my first year of college (BMM) from one college and my second and final year (BMM) from another college. Should I get transcripts from both my old and new college? So now I'll have three envelopes within my bigger envelope?

Hi All,

I graduated from DG Ruparel in 2004 (Full time BA) and have completed my Masters from NL Dalmia in 2009 (part time MBA). What is the process that I should follow for sending the documents to WES? Should I get the transcripts from college and go to Kalina campus for attestation for both (2004 and 2009) degrees or I can directly apply for attestation at Kalina campus and send the documents ahead to WES?

So my question is:

1. Where do I go first? College?
2. Where do I go next? University?
or 3. Can i go to university directly? If yes, which campus. My both degrees are now over 10 years old (May 2009) for MBA.

Further, my wife has completed her part time MBA from same college in 2016 and what is the process that she should follow? I am a little confused here and since the university charges are expensive for attestation (Kalina campus), we need to tread carefully.

Please guide.

Hi,
I've done my bachelor's in science from Mumbai university and part time masters in marketing from Mumbai university (via sfimar college)
I got all my bachelor's and master's marksheets and degree certificates attested from the churchgate branch of the university. (I can share the process with you if you like)
I had these documents sent to wes. They accepted my bachelor's marksheets but have rejected my master's marksheets saying that both the marksheets issued in the third year need be issued by the university itself... But in my case and also most likely in your wife's case the last year marksheets are issued by college for SEM 1 and university for SEM 2.
When I contacted them and explained this to them, they have asked me to ask my university to send them a letter printed on Mumbai university's letterhead stating the details that I mentioned to them over the call.
Now I'm not sure if the university will do this for me...
Currently I'm trying to figure if this is possible...
You may want to see if IQAS will process your documents without this additional requirement of a letter from the university
