WES Procedure

Hello Experts of Forum,

Need help a help on to understand WES complete procedure - I am really confused about steps to follow and help would really be appreciable. Thank you.
Are these the below steps need to follow -

1. Register on WES website
2. Make the payment
3. Get the photocopies done of all mark sheets and certificate
4. Go to respective university
5. Get all “Photocopies” signed and attested by “Controller of Examination”
6. Get those in sealed and signed envelope and “Let University” or “Me” to send WES?

As well –
A. Where I can get the application form for requesting these above signed and sealed documents to submit to university?
B. And where I can get the application form to submit to WES?

Experts guidance on this step will be very helpful as if I am missing any steps, do we need to send original to WES or Photocopies signed and sealed by University stated in point number 5 & 6. I am really confused with the procedure. Please guide if I am missing any step above here.

1. Register on WES website -Yes
2. Make the payment - You will get application form with reference number, once payment is done. (Should be included)
3. Get the photocopies done of all mark sheets and certificate - Yes (Individual mark sheets, Consolidated Mark sheet, Convocation and provincial( I have sent it)
4. Go to respective university - Yes
5. Get all “Photocopies” signed and attested by “Controller of Examination” - No. Get the original sealed transcripts signed by "Controller of Examination"
6. Get those in sealed and signed envelope and “Let University” or “Me” to send WES? - You may send it.

Apart from these, send xerox copy of first and last page of your passport.
Don't send your original certificates. Send only xerox copies and original transcripts.

Hi Sharvari

Depending upon how many credentials you need evaluated (Bachelors and Masters, or Masters only etc), you need to focus on the following:

1. Approach your University Office and inquire about the time and procedure involved in acquiring a Sealed University Transcript.

When you have the Sealed University Transcript with you (do not tamper the seal in any way), perform the following:

2. Get a Photocopy of ALL your University Provided Mark-sheets and Degree Certificates. (This is not College Mark-sheets or Certificates).
3. Go Online to the WES Portal and create an account. Make the WES Payment Online and take a Print of the WES Receipt.
4. Compile all the documents together - Photocopies, WES Receipt and the Sealed Envelope and put them in a Larger Envelope to be able to courier them together.
5. The Courier address for WES Canada is provided on their website.

I just get mail from WES that my documents have been received and have to be verified from my university.
Please, does any member of the forum has an idea on how long it may take for WES to verify result from institution? Because am afraid i may not meet uo with DEC deadline, so how can I expedite this verification?

Now if I see all my Bachelors mark sheets all are signed by "Controller of Examination". What else WES required on these mark sheets ?

What is DEC Deadline ? The Speed at which WES processes your app depends on the package you have subscribed but i think its currently 4 to 6 weeks for FSW if its the regular subscription.

A University transcript is something the University issues directly to the candidate or other requesting bodies on behalf of the candidate.

It contains the name of the candidate, the name of the degree completed, the examinations that the candidate appeared and successfully cleared along-with the grade/division obtained. All the details have their corresponding dates mentioned as well.

Looks like everything's correct.
In regard of processing fee, they will also add some taxes on the top of the basic fee. And express delivery is not included in the basic fee as well.

Now I am filling up the form online for Bachelor Of Commerce ( India ) which is for 3 years. I have marksheet of of 1st year, 2nd year , 3rd year. Now I am stuck at -

1 ) What should be the name of credential - Should I write "First Year Marksheet" or something else ?

2 ) Institution Type - Should be a "Higher Education" ?

3 ) Do I need to enter all the 3 years marksheets ?

4 ) Do I need to enter "Degree Certificate" and From to To period will be all 3 years ? E.g Year 2004 to Year 2007

5 ) Do I need to assess SSC and HSC as well ? If yes how can I get transcripts for those ? I am not sure if SSC and HSC transcripts are obtainable !!!

You have to mention the Credentials PER QUALIFICATION and not PER EXAMINATION.

So your Credentials will be "Bachelors Degree".
