WES post secondary grades

I have graduated form one of engineering faculties (5 years) in Egypt, Afterwards I went for a 9 months diploma in Computer networks. By the time i evaluated my university degree, I did send the transcript for the diploma. Now, I have all the papers for the diploma (transcripts+certificate)

I have some questions and need your help:

1- WES did my first evaluation. I have the option to upgrade my application and add a new completed degree, however, when i checked the free evaluation tool they provide, Only Master/Bachelor degrees are available. Neither my institute nor my diploma degree are listed there. In such a case will WES accept my 2nd post secondary degree (i.e diploma) or not?

2- I know i should submit a single ECA report but in case WES will not accept it, Should I resubmit all my post secondary grades including the Bachelor degree and the diploma to another ECA institute? If so which one do you recommend?

Free tool is for our reference. If your institute is not listed in the dropdown, it is nothing to be worried about. Even my Master's institute wasn't listed but I got the Canadian Equivalency summary as 'Master's'. Just upgrade the application and send your transcripts. Just make sure WES considers both of your credentials in the modified ECA report.

From what you are saying, I believe i will send them the (Cert+transcript) for the new degree only (diploma not master's), They should have the record exists for the bachelor degree already right? I do not have to send the bachelor degree docs again, Am i right?

This is my case too, I've a doubt if my 9 months program will be considered or not.

The only way to know is to get the ECA done. Just send it in a prescribed sealed envelope. All the best.

I have a doubt about- I have completed Master in financial Management from Mumbai University which is part time course.I am not able to find the degree in the evaluation tool of WES. So.So how would this be evalauted by WES...will it be consider as Master's Degree or will it be consider as Bachlor ?

My qualification :
B.com, MFM

Hi Mustufa,

WES have their confidential means to decipher Canadian Equivalency for your qualifications. Just send them quickly in sealed envelopes. This process takes a lot of weeks to be completed.

Hello Friends
need help on Spouse ECA.

I got it done ECA for my spouse.(For Bachelore of Commerce & Master of Commerce).
IN ECA Report it says,

For Bachelore Degree Equilancy says "Bachelore Degree (3 years)"
FOr Masters equilancy says "Bachelore degree (4 years) THe equalancy for this credential is stated in conjuction with the study previously completed."

I m bit confused here what to enter in my express entry profile in 1. Bachelore degree row? 2. Masters degree row?

please suggest and how many points i may get for these? 8 or 9 or 10???

hi there can any one plz guide me abt my credentials ,i have done 3 years BSc honours in biotechnology and 1 year of MSc in the same from karachi university as a regular student so in which institution (wes, iqas,icas etc) shall i send my these 2 degrees for positive result to be declared as masters degree holder.
