WES or MCC? For specialty physicians? Cap concern

This is another question I have....
I am a specialist physician, while my wife is a GP with a MPH.
We plan to send my docs to MCC later this week but it takes 105 days. I just read on this forum that WES can also do MBBS evaluation. Can they also do specialty certificate evaluation? Or do I just apply as a GP?
On the other hand, my wife has not had one year of continuous work except during her internship (which was technically 11 months) and voluntary national youth service in Nigeria afterwards. However, I am thinking that since WES has evaluated her MBBS degree before and we can quickly send her MPH degree to WES in the interest of time.

What do you think? I feel I am have better chances based on experience etc but the 105 days it takes for ECA is way too long. Another option someone mentioned was for me to apply as a GP but does this sound well? As I am technically not been a GP for over 8 years. Do we just wait for MCC and hope the cap doesnt fill by then?
I am freaking out about the wait. Lastly is there a way to monitor the cap gap/ number of application received?
Please any advice welcome!

Thank you again.

as a specialist physician (NOC 3111) or general practitioner/family physician (NOC 3112), the Medical Council of Canada must do your educational credential assessment
