Hello, I received my ECA evaluation from WES today - but they messed up my name from one of the credentials. I have asked for correction but I was wondering if I can enter the pool while they make the correction. Has anyone faced a similar issue where they asked for a different report and in that case, does the ECA# change? Also, when applying in EE do I only have to give ECA# OR also upload a pdf? And finally, even if I have to upload the pdf, would it be okay to update it later - worst case I will have to decline an earlier received ITA right?

Okay, I have gone ahead and submitted my express entry profile. I figured that I will have to send a LOE for ECA anyway as format of my name is not same on all my transcripts. I think I can also send my Master's degree showing that clearly it was WES who have misspelled my last name on the certificate - I do not think this is misrepresentation or gaining an unfair advantage in eyes of CIC. Comments anyone?
For what it's worth, the same thing happened to me, I didn't ask WES for a correction, and my application was completed without further issues.
To be specific, they merely misspelled one part of my name (it has several written variations) so I didn't see the need as it's not a major difference.
I say it's always better to err on the side of caution and get your documents as correct as possible.

After I asked them to update, it took them 2 weeks to issue the report with corrected name.
