WES for PTU B.Tech DEGREE need some quick confirmation

hello everyone,

I have checked on forum but got conflicting information.

So right now i have received transcripts from PTU for my wife B.Tech degree from a college comes under PTU.

I am packaging a colored xerox of her final degree awarded and this transcript envelope.

Is this it or do i need to send any other xerox alongwith the courier ?

Please confirm i want to send them at the earliest possible timing.

You only need to send the transcripts given by your University in a sealed, signed and stamped envelop and a xerox copy of your degree certificate.

I have recently send PTU transcripts and a copy of my degree to WES. I think this is all that is required.
My Documents are under review currently.

Usually the whole process will take anything between 20 days to a month after you send your documents to WES. It took 27 days to be precise for me to receive a hard copy fo WES Report at my mailing address.

On website it mentions 20 working days but it take lesser than that . my docs reached on 24 th march and evaluation is completed today.

Make sure to mention WES number on envelope. I also sent WES payment receipt along with it, just to be extra cautious.

If the document is given to you to forward to WES, it must be attested & dated and placed in an official sealed envelope that is signed or stamped across the back flap by the appropriate authentication officer at the institution that conducted the examination. If the envelope has been opened or there is no stamp or signature across the back flap, the document will not be accepted by WES.


You're good nothing to worry.

I saw the transcripts were sealed and had stamps on back flap all across something that i missed before.

So after verifications printed the WES application, colored xerox of degree awarded and transcripts envelope, packed all 3 things and sent off by DHL.
Should reach by Tuesday.

I hope this is done within April 2016

The process varies from country to country and institution to institution. Please refer to the email that you received after making the payment on WES website. This email has the process detailed out for each institution. If you are sending it from India, then your university can either directly send it to WES (which they generally do not do), or they can give you the sealed envelope with the transcripts to be sent to WES.

Hi,
It can be done both ways.
If you apply to your university to send direct to WES, first apply to WES create application, they give you address to ship your document to.
Use that address, order transcript to be sent internationally there.

Or else order to your home, use that to send a courier alongwith your degree and other documentations needed.
Check with WES what they actually want here.

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for sharing information here. This thread is quite useful.
However, I have another doubt, I just called the Registrar at the PTU and they told me:

1. For the transcripts, I need the Xerox of all the DMCs - ok

2. Need to pay the fees, Rs 300 - ok

3. If there is a WES form, I need to get that attested from the College, do we need this form?
I ask this because I am planning to send the transcripts with he sealed envelope by myself, also the Univ will not send the Degree certificate, but WES will need the Xerox of the Degree certificate, so I thought that I will send the Xerox of the degree certificate and the sealed envelop myself in another envelope with the WES reference number on the top.

Could someone please confirm point 3, will it do?

Go to support.ptu.edu.in

Sign up with your university roll number and email.

Login and submit a new ticket which says, I want to get my transcripts.

They will revert saying this is a payment query and will open a form for you to upload the marksheets of all 8 sems.

Scan your marksheets and pay online fee and get it shipped to your home address.

This will take about 15-20 days.

In the meantime, sign up for the WES ECA and complete their payment.

Once you have the envelope with you, COLOR XEROX your degree, take an envelope put your transcript envelope and your degree xerox inside and send to WES.

DONE.

P.S No need to go to college no need for WES letter nothing.
