WES for applicants in Canada

I am in Canada since last 2 years and 3 months. I am on full time job with work permit.
Is WES mandatory for me?

Hi prerak,

If you are talking about an ECA (Educational Credential Assessment) provided by WES (World Education Service) than yes: it is highly recommended if you have a post-secondary education from a non Canadian university/ institute and want to get points for your credentials in order to increase your CRS.

We are applying in "WITHIN CANADA" category.

If you got your degree outside of canada then yes WES is mandatory.
If the Spouse is applying for a PR then yes she has to take the IELTS as well
