WES - Express Entry profile creation question

Hello,

I am in a weird situation. I have got my ECA for Bachelors and Masters Degree from WES. I have created express entry profile and have filled in all the details. The issue is that the ECA evaluation showed Canadian equivalency of Bachelors degree. I contacted the WES and came to know that I had submitted in-progress transcript of my Masters by mistake. Now that I have sent the updated copy to them, it might take a while to get the evaluation. I confirmed with them and they said that the ECA# will not change. So my question is, can i still submit my express entry profile or should i wait for the evaluation done? I wonder if the date might change on the evaluation report.

You can submit your EE profile, with Bachelor’s degree equivalency only.
You should wait for your ECA results for your master’s degree prior to adding it on your profile.
Otherwise, you would have problems in the future because the updated ECA would have a different date.

Thank you for your reply. I have some followup questions if you don't mind answering them?
1) Say for now I submit my profile with only Bachelor's Degree, how long does it usually take to rank the profile? (This is my first time and do not know in detail how this process works)
2) Now after I get my Master's evaluation, I update that in the profile and now my CRS score increases, will i be considered from the day profile was submitted or the day I updated Masters degree for tie-breaking rule( preference)?

Hi

Refer below URL.

https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1318&top=29#CRS

Note, if you update your profile, the system will keep the original date and time stamp when you first submitted your profile.

i hope it explains your query.
I totally agree!

Once you transmit / officially submit your EE profile, you will get a notification in a few minutes- and the date would remain the same even if you make some changes. This would matter in case of a tie-breaker.
