Wes Evaluation/MPNP Application

Good day my people

I had a 2 year diploma and 3 yrs University degree so I only sent my degree to wes being the highest qualification as requested but when my evaluation is out, it reads 4 yrs Canadian equivalent degree.

I submitted an EOI to the MPNP stating 2 or more post secondary education to gain more points. I also have an EE profile but only indicated my bsc.

I got an ITA on 21 December 2023. Should I add the diploma since have already stated it in my EOI or remove it because of the wes issue?

Please I need your advice on this.

You can’t claim point for 2 or more degrees when on only one degree was evaluated. As you have correctly indicated only your BSc on your EE, go ahead with the application. The diploma will go to your personal history.

Did your get ITA based on MPNP?

I got LOA for the MPNP.
When submitting my full application for the Mpnp, I should add the diploma too right? Since have already indicated in my expression of interest.

And should I update my profile at EE for the diploma so that it won't look as if am withholding vital information that may later count against me.

These are my concern. What do you think

Your first post said you got ITA on 2023/12/23 and this post is asking submitting application to MPNP. This is quite confusing.
Confirm are you applying for PR now or still waiting for nomination from Manitoba?

Ok, only submit education you have ECA for which is the bachelors. Not sure if this will decrease your points for your LOA as you originally claimed points for 2 or more degrees.

Ok. But someone advice that every information I claimed in my EOI must coincide with my application and am kind of worried for that. That why would I claim 2 or more post secondary education and be submitting only my university degree during application? That it amount to withholding of vital information which might leads to refusal.

You are missing the point. When you claimed 2 degrees in your EOI, did that increase your points to get selected?

Yes it does by 5 points but even without the 5 points, I still meet up with the minimum points.

The draw that got me invited is 601 points while I had 609 for checking 2 or more post secondary degrees.
With Bsc degree alone my point will be 604 which is still above the minimum draw of 601 conducted by 21st of December 2023

Then you have nothing to worry about. Just send the BSc ECA. You could just explain you stated 2 or more degrees in error.

Please amend your EE profile to just BSc

Thanks for the response. Am indeed grateful. I just checked my EE Profile and I found out that I did not even include the diploma. I just remembered I intentionally removed it when my WES did not captured it.

Shola, whatever you used to claim points in your EOI must be included in your full application, even tho WES did not verify the diploma you have to add it, with transcripts and certificate, if not MPNP will feel you used it to claim points, they're very strict.
