WES Evaluation ECA - Two years of post-secondary study at a non-recognized institution

I am in the same boat with SIMS PGDM 2007. disappointed and after reading this thread looks like there is no choice. were any of you able to clears further?

Hi.. I just checked on WES and have written to SIMS for clarity. The WES site clearly mentions that if the PGDM was approved/recognized by AICTE then masters credit will be provided. Question now is SIMS is affiliated by AICTE but not sure if the the PGDM diploma we got is.. awaiting for their email revert..

Hi I just want to ask, how long it will take before the mail can reach WES? My documents was sent to LBC Philippines last August 4, 2020 and the tracking number shows that it was on Z MAPLE since August 11, 2020. I am waiting for any confirmation from WES but it's been almost a month.
Please help.. Thank you..

Nope.. and many people told me that WES doesn’t recognize SIMS PGDBM.. hence try IQAS, CES , ICAS etc

Okay. Have you chosen which alternative agency to apply to?

IQAS doesn't recognise it either. SIIB (2003-2005).
Have now submitted an RTI to UGC to get details on accreditation.
Will keep you guys posted.

I have recently got my WES ECA evaluation report as under :

Credential: Postgraduate Diploma
Year: 2003
Awarded by: Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies
Status: Non-recognized Program
Major/Specialization: Management
Canadian Equivalency: Two years of post-secondary study at a non-recognized institution
Remarks: The credential is not comparable to a completed Canadian education credential.

CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY is Bachelor's degree (four years) - owing to my earlier Bachelor's degree being recognised only.

I wanted to know :
1. Has anyone got recognition for 2 yrs Full time PGDM completed from SIMS (2005 or earlier) - Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies from WES or any other Evaluation agency..

2. What options do I have to get CRS points for my PGDM.

Please help..
