WES equivalency to Indian Degrees

Hi Everyone,

I have two degrees from Indian Universities.

1. Bachelors in Commerce (3 years full time course)
2. Masters in Journalism and Communication (2 years full time course)

Would anyone know what would be the expected education standard as per the canadian system?

It will be "Two or more certificates" for sure, but can be Masters as well if you had thesis work in Masters. It purely depends on the agency who is providing ECA.

My course is not mentioned when I try this tool.

Your college /university should be listed in this site. Which means it’s recognised internationally and thus wes gives the degree equivalency. You may read more on this wes link.

My university is listed but the course isnt. Infact no journalism and communication course is mentioned in Bachelors or Masters.

That is fine. If it’s recognised usually there shouldn’t be a problem in equivalency.

I think Tech courses get Canadian equivalency through wes usually
