WES - ECA sending spouse and my documents together through courier

I created 2 WES References/applicants - one for me and other for my wife/spouse. I collected documents (in sealed envelope) from both universities.
1. One sealed envelope for me with my WES Reference# on envelope.
2. One sealed envelope of my wife for 1 degree with my wife's WES Reference# on it.

Can I send both sealed envelopes(both mine and my wife's) in one courier envelope from India to WES canada. In this case, I will save Courier charges.
Or
is it mandatory to send each applicant documents in one courier, which makes me to send 2 couriers - one for me and other for my wife.

Yes, do mention wes reference number on each envelope.

I had posted this query to WES customer service as well and below is the response, for others having similar queries

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for e-mailing us. Please be advised that in order to make sure all applicants’ files are successfully processed, applicants can only create one WES account at a time, given that the WES system does not accept information for more than one person in a single application. Furthermore, applicants must make sure their packages only arrive in our office containing documents of only one applicant in order to not delay the evaluation process. Please send the documents in separate packages if you would like your documents reviewed in a timely manner.
