Hi
Forum

I am planning to send my transcripts for my ECA evaluation to WES . WES website states PGDip as (12+3+2) where I understand that 12+3 is graduation and 2 would be the Diploma ...

Now I have a PGDip which was for 1 year . I am confused how will this be evaluated and will this affect my CRS as the CIC website states the following Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years.

Looking forward for experts advise

Are you sending only your diploma transcripts or would you be sending Bachelors as well? WES does not charge by the number of degrees that you get assessed by them. So it would be advisable to send them all the degrees/diplomas that you have from Bachelors onwards (though the requirement is to get only your highest foreign degree assessed). This will give you more points when compared to just getting your Bachelors or diploma assessed individually and you will be able to select 'two or more degree where one is at least 3 years or more'.

Hey
Stanlee

Thanks for your reply .....

I'll be sending both my PGDip as well as my Bachelors Deg transcripts for Eval.
My concern was would they consider my 1 yr PGDip since the website states PGDip (12+3+2).

And then will I be able to get points based on 'two or more degree where one is at least 3 years or more' .

Also I have one more query me and my wife we both are sending our documents for credential evaluation . Any idea if we can send our documents together as one courier while mentioning our individual WES REF No. on our respective envelopes ?

One last thing .. We manage to score about 455 do you think its worth a shot ? :)

The criteria that WES uses to assess foreign degrees is not quite clear (it varies from institution to institution and country to country). Send your documents to WES. If they consider your diploma with your Bachelors, then you will be able to choose 'two or more degree where one is at least 3 years or more'

Yes, you can send both your's and your wife's sealed envelopes which you received from your college/university to WES in one master envelope with individual WES Reference Numbers mentioned on each envelope and even on the master envelope.

Based on the past trend the score has come down till 451, so based on that you stand a chance, but this year the quota for economic class has been reduced and there are many people entering the pool on a daily basis, so we can only guess and hope for the best. Meanwhile if you get a PT NOI from Ontario, you can give it a shot as you have 45 days to submit your application package and if you get a direct ITA in the interim, you can drop your plan for OINP and go ahead with ITA.
