WES ECA - is it a good option to get it done for spouse as well?

Hey friends,

I got the PER on 27th Oct 2014 and i am the primary applicant.

Is it a good option to do the WES for my spouse as well ?

Employers can ask for this WES when she start searching for a job in canada?

Please advice.

For employment purporses it does make sence to evaluate all the diplomas and certificates one has.

But, from the other hand, WES charges quite a substantial amount which may become helpful once you land. And ECA will be useless if your wife ends up as a waitress or a caregiver.

Probably you should first research how is the labour market for her occupation currently doing, what are the requirements of employers, what are her real chances to get a job in this sector, etc., and then make a desicion.
