Hi All,
I am on H1B visa currently and planning to apply for PR under Express entry , I did my masters from usa and bachelors from India, Do i need to do ECA for both degrees or just for highest degree and How should i create account on WES because for usa it asks for two credentials, please help!!

You only need an ECA for your Masters. Do not use the USA WES site. Use the Canada one. http://www.wes.org/ca/eca/
hi thanks a lot for reply .Actually , I created an account on Canada one and when I select country of education as USA its asks info for two educational credentials, one for Higher/Secondary education and second one has four options which includes University education , I need second one only but both options are mandatory which is confusing.not sure what to do with option one ?

The site above does not tell you to send both. It's basically asking are you going to have Higher Education or Secondary Education credentials assessed. Follow the directions for Higher Education as those are for college degrees. Secondary Education is basically high school.

It's a US Masters degree which will likely equate a Canadian Masters. Why would you pay to get the bachelor's assessed as well? You only get points for the Masters degree.

Here its not the question of getting points and moreover its obvious that when u have masters degree , you will be having some sort bachelor degree.

Here they want the foreign degrees to be evaluated from WES , in which they say that are equivalent to canadian.

Exactly. If you have a masters degree, you clearly have a bachelors degree. Therefore the ECA for the bachelors is not needed. If the Masters is equivalent to a Canadian Masters, no one cares about the Bachelors degree.

I did both and infact lawyers told to do both the degrees as the bachelor and masters degree were submitted to IRCC. So its upto an individual to choose for only masters.

So you might be rt in that perspective having masters no one cares about bachelors

You don't have to pay extra to get the bachelors degree assessed. With one order, you can get upto two degrees assessed. So I went ahead and got both of them done. I got my masters in USA and bachelors in India too. But you really NEED only one (your highest or the one you're claiming points for) done.
