Couple of things. Try to see if you can take the IELTS again and get a Band 9 score. It will help a great deal.

Also IMHO it is not 2 or more degrees but can give a more definitive answer once you post the summary of your WES evaluation.

So on CIC- CRS calculator even if I select 9 score in each domain, my total comes to 441 i.e only 6 points more than current. So re-appearing for IELTS will not be a solution.

If you can tell me which option to select if WES outcome comes out to be-

Diploma (3 years): got evaluated as Secondary School Diploma and Diploma (2 years)

Bachelor of Engineering (3 years): Bachelor's Degree (4 years)

I have quoted below a post from one of our fellow member who has exactly the same qualifications like you and me. He got his evaluation and got updated the summary in the report by WES so that he was able to select "Two or More Degree" option. You may try to contact him directly and see if it will help you.

Hi,

i have done 10th then 12th and then diploma and then engineering. For both diploma and engineering, it was lateral entry for me. WES sent me report as Bachelors degree four year in summary and canadian equivalency for diploma as secondary school diploma and diploma 2 years. After that i made a request to them to update summary with both qualifications. So they updated it in two days as Diploma 2 years and Bachelors Degree four years. So now i am able to select two or more options without any hesitation.

Well, Piyush is right. If we score higher in IELTS then our CRS score will surely improve. Try to use the below links and play with different values and see the difference.

I was trying to ask you to improve your IELTS score so that you get an additional 25 points under skills transferability with Two or more degrees plus an additional 7 points under the educational qualifications, thus taking you well past 460.

With regard to consultants optimism, tell them that you will pay if they can put it in the contract that the score will go to 440 and if it doesn't by the year end they will refund your full money.

Then I would love to see their response!

I am also optimistic...

Your IELTS score is pretty good which means you claim CLB9 in CRS ranking. I also learnt that CRS will come down until the end of this year but not 100% sure. But after creating your EE profile you can start looking into various PNP programs and start applying for them. Hopefully, you would get nomination as IT sector is pretty demanding in Canada. You can also try to get a job offer (LMIA approved) but lot of people say that its very tough to get one. However, you never know what future holds for you.

Like you said, I tried and checked my CRS with 9.0 in all sections of IELTS on CIC CRS tool URL. The outcome is 441 which is an addition of 6 points from my current CRS score of 435. This also is not enough to get me a PR.

Only if I could you " Two or more certificates, Diplomas or degree etc etc" option on EE page- my CRS will be 468 with my current profile and chances of getting PR soon will be high.

Bingo. Similar was my case and I woke up only 8 months too late. Please write to WES at the earliest so that it will help speed things up.

PS: Please avoid consultants as far as possible. Speaking from personal experience (wasted money + time due to lack of consultant knowledge)

I have the same qualification. What is your summary in the WES report.

For me at first it was Degree 4 Years and then i wrote to wes and they changed it to Diploma 2 year and Degree 4 Year.
