Hi ,
I am applying for ECA through WES.

I have few doubts.

1)I am applying from India, but wanted to give my relatives address who is staying in CANADA, for WES mailing address, can I do it?
or should I give my own address?please clarify.

2)In WES online application, fare for Educational Credential Assessment Package is $200. Is it correct, am i going in the correct path?

3)Also, what is the mode of payment, will credit card work or do I need to choose western union option?

Thanks,
Akshu

Why would you want to mail it to Canada? You may have to produce original during some point of time. I would recommend you to get it mailed to your India Address.

Yes the fees is about that, refer their website to get latest information.

Credit card should work.

Answer 1. It not make sense to me that you want to give your relative address (based in CANADA) while you are here in India. Better give your own address.

2. The total fare is $322.05 CAD if you opt for express delivery and somewhere around $238 for regular delivery.

3. Opt for Credit Card option - it will work more better as compared to Western Union.

Hope it helps.

Thanks for the onfo.

I will be getting the docs from my relative as he is coming to India in another 2 months, just wanted to save money.
So i will be getting the originals in hand,so that should not be a problem right?

Thanks,
Akshu

Hello Akshu,

Sorry I believe there is some confusion in what you share. You will be getting docs from your relatives - sorry can you please elaborate on this plus from where you did your education. Share in details as only can help you more better.

Best,

I believe it should not be a problem!!

ECA is an important document when it comes to express entry, and I would recommend you to ensure that the original is with you sooner or later.

All the best!!!

I have completed my education in India.

I reside in India.I have a relative who is in Canada.

My score is 342, still have lot of time for my turn.So I am not in a hurry.
My doubt is , if I give my relatives address as mailing address in WES ,and I will be getting the docs in hand from them after evaluation ,Will there be any problem?
To apply for CIC, we need to have the ECA hard copy only right?

Thanks,
Akshu

Soft copy should be fine for now...

If you opt for a province nomination, some pf them might ask you for attested copy and to get a document attested from the notary, you have to show the original document.

If you want to pay with your credit card then the delivery address needs to match with your credit card address. In my case I wanted to have it delivered in Bangladesh but pay with my friend's (living in CA) credit card. Later I contacted WES when they told me the above. If you opt-in for international courier delivery option then you will have it delivered safely in India in no more than 3-5 business days.

Alternatively, you can provide your relatives address and ask him to pay for it and reimburse him the money when he comes. In this case, total cost will be less.

Total cost with international delivery would be: 200 + 85 (courier) + 37.05 (gst) = $322.05 CAD

Hope this helps.
