My university name is listed in autonomous list of institutions on WES website.Do I need to get the photo copy of my mark sheets and degree attested from my university or I can send these copies right away. I am not clear with this process as mentioned on their website.

Though it is not a requirement, but it is better to get your mark sheets and Degree attested from Registrar or Controller of Examination (to be on a safer side). Get it packed in a sealed envelop and stamped across all back folds before mailing it to WES.
Thanks for the reply Krishna, Why I asked this is because I am in USA right now and will have to go to India to get this thing done. How much can it effect my evaluation If I do not get them attested and send as it is. Will WES not going to consider unattested mark sheets
Can you not ask the university to courier them to Wes directly?
That's what I did with my U.K. University

I was not in India either when I filed for my WES. You can drop an email to the university and check. Some of them charge a nominal fee for INR500, they will send your documents to WES directly with all due formalities.
