Hi,

I am from India and want to migrate to Canada. I did my masters from India from a recognised university, however I have many backlogs although I have cleared them all but my percentage is also low (54%).

Is it advisable to do the WES evaluation? Will I be awarded points for my Masters considering my backlogs and low percentage?

Your reply will be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

Were you awarded a Master's Degree at the end? If yes, the ECA's job is to find the Canadian equivalent of your degree and not to judge your marks. So if you passed and got the degree, you can go for your ECA evaluation.

If your degree is recognized by WES, you will definitely get ECA for it, your performance in the program just doesn't matter.

Do you mean ranking by percentage? As long as you've got your degree certificate, WES will most probably accept it, regardless of your ranking or GPA or whatsoever. You will be awarded points after WES evaluate your mater's degree.

Thank you all for your reply...

I read somewhere that if someone is having backlog then he will not get any points for master degree, hence I raised this question as I have many backlogs in all semisters which I eventually cleared.

Hi,

I have done my bachelor's from Mumbai university. Now my question is that I failed in one subject (accounts)subject in my third year, however I gave all the papers again the next year n cleared my graduation with first class.

Will it be considered in WES? as technically I took 4 years to complete my graduation.

Please give an honest reply only if it sure.
