can i ask WES to assess my education and my wife's education BOTH in ONE PACKAGE?

OR,

does my wife need to apply seperately?

You need to apply separately, with separate package with separate fee draft.

Is it mentioned there?

I have initiated ours case to ICAS and IQAS....its mentioned that each assessment should be sent separately..... Better play safe....if u feel doubt in any thing always go with the sure thing.

thanks...

why did you choose iqas and icas instead of WES?

My wife is a doctor she need to sit for ARDM exam so she opted for ICAS for detailed and comprehensive assessment.... Secondly we are moving to Calgary, Alberta therefore IQAS covers most of the educational institutes there. And i intend studying too... So i selected IQAS

Yes that is the address.
You and your wife will register separately and will each be given separate registration number.
so both must apply separately to have separate evaluation.
Do two of you attend same school? but definitely not same result.
The institution will send the transcript to WES directly on individual basis.
You can only send the certificate by your self.

i thought wife s education would have no points anymore?????

Hello Akerekoro,

May I hvae your suggestions on below.

I have applied and paid the fees to WES yesterday.

With regards to sending the documents to WES. I have some doubts.

They have mentioned the two options in the section 'How to send the documents'.

Request for all mark sheets to be sent directly to WES by the institution responsible for conducting the examinations

-OR-

You may have photocopies of your original mark sheets attested by the Controller of Examinations or Registrar's Office. Please request for the attested photocopies to be placed in an official sealed envelope and have the envelope returned to you to forward to WES.

Do correct me if I am wrong- as per the second option can I send my transcript received from my university some months back on the university's envelope with sealed from all the corners with university's seal an signed by controller of examination and university's registrar's office to WES ? This is what i have understood from their second option. As they have mentioned that university can hand over to you and further you can dispatch to WES.

So spouse certificate also needs to be evaluated by WES? why? I thought only main applicant needs to send to WES....man...this is crazy. another $280.

Immigration is also a business for Canada, people may not get in Canada but Canada have their money. The charges for evaluation are highly unreasonable, it does not cost that much to evaluate a degree. WES and other similar organisation are going to make millions now.

But I dont think spouse education needs to be verfied through ECA. I think only primary applicants need to get this done.

Can anyone confirm or post the source of this info? Thanks
