I am planning to apply from Karachi Pakistan. The WES website says that the Secondary School and College degrees should be sent directly to WES by the respective boards. Can a candidate get the following attested by the respective authorities and send them to WES? The reason is that the authorities take too long to send the assessment reports.

There is no need to send secondary school papers if you are sending degree docs. What you need to do is to go to the university from where the degree is issued and get all the degree and mark sheets copies attested from the registrar and get all the papers sealed in an envelope from them. Put this sealed envelope in a new envelop along with the fee payment receipt and send to wes.

My University or organization of study is not listed in WES's accepted universities from Pakistan. My bachelors, masters credentials have been stamped/verified by HEC.

Will WES perform ECA for me, for FSW, if I add a letter from HEC mentioning validity of my credentials/documents ?

Will WES consider my documents for performing ECA ?

Is your institute recognized by your government? If so than if not listed on wes than they will take time. Better you send them an email on their contact page and get clarifications.

My organization of study is recognized by Provincial Govt. It is also recognized by HEC, the federal authority which approves charters of organizations which are to become Degree Awarding Institutes or University. My University's name is mentioned on HEC's website on their page HEC Recognized Universities.

I'v contacted WES through their contact form. They always reply "since your university is not listed in our list of accepted universities from Pakistan, we won't accept your docs for ECA"

Already know my University is not listed there.

Also many other private sector universities are not listed there. Most universities listed there are public sector.

Hi All,

I am new to this forum, can someone please share link where Indian universities which are eligible in WES assessment are listed. Also please share if CFA(US) qualifies and fetch some extra points in evaluation?

Thanks in advance,

Look at WES link - http://www.wes.org/ca/fswp/requireddocuments/index.asp. As per WES, all Indian universities in http://www.aiuweb.org/Members/MembersA.asp are eligible. WES have not mentioned which universities are not eligible for India, this criteria does not apply to India. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for quick reply Darklord. I can't IBS (ICFAI Business School in the list) :( .

Does any one know if regular MBA from ICFAI gets credit in point system. Also if CFA-(US) is of any help in the points system?

Thanks,
Harry
