can't pay to WES.It says

Pending charges/payments: You must allow 15 minutes and log out, then log on again for your updates to show.

What is wrong with me?? Is it already paid or not.

If they've charged your credit card, the status will show immediately and you'll be given a ID number (or whatever they call it).
I've had a similar problem - I've entered all information and nothing happened. I wrote to WES to get confirmation of the payment, but they never replied. I repeated the same thing few days later and, after submitting cc data, was taken to new page where I saw my number, payment and status - waiting for the documents.
So, check first if they've charged your card and, if not, try again.

It means exactly what it said.

Did you check that your institution was in WES' list list before submitting your application to WES?

Hi there
I have recently received WES report which on top says " Bachelor's degree from a non-recognized institution" but in credential analysis it says "institution status: Recognized" and now I am confused whether i am eligible or not for FSW..
And on top of it when I asked for some clarification from WES, they replied that they will re-evaluate and let me know.

All I want to know is that in WES report does summary and institution status say recognized in both places or non-recognized in both places?? and could it be a typo error?? or its right what it says and can differ in both places??

Kindly help me!!!

I have received ECA report for both bachelors (B.Sc/ Biochemistry - 3 years from Indian recognized university) and Masters( M.Sc/ Genetics - 2 years from Indian recognized University) and it says

Under the Bachelor's section - Canadian Equivalency - Bachelor's degree 4 years

Under the Master's Section - Canadian Equivalency - one year of graduate study

I am upset if my masters is not equivalent.

I wonder if i did any mistake while submitting reports!

kindly help!

^^ M.Sc seems to be considered as 1 year equivalent for any Indian university by WES whereas M.Tech/ME is considered as "masters degree".

The deemed university that I did my B.Tech (NIT, Calicut) at is not included in the WES Prelimnary assessment search results. Also, the masters course (M.Des from IISc) I did is not an option in the tool. Both are premier institutes and so I had expected them to be listed. Is there any way to address this?

If the universities are not on the list, you cannot help it. Write them a mail telling about your situation and ask them if they can evaluate the documents in your case. Otherwise, you'd have to choose some other body (ICAS, etc) to do your ECA.

In that case how can I find out whether the institutes are recognized by ICAS?

I had mailed them and didn't get any reply yet.

However, I found that my university is listed in a ranking by Dataquest and article is published on WES website back in 2006.

Anyway, I guess I'll just bite the bullet and go for it.

I got a reply stating the following;
Thank you for your message.

Please note that the degree equivalency tool does not contain all academic institution.

Also, please be advised that we do not provide any preliminary information and your documents must be reviewed.

I got the evaluation completed and both my universities were recognized and so got canadian equivalent masters degree :D

Apparently the preliminary assessment tool is not exhaustive.

Excellent.. Congrats :).

Hi

When I used the free assessment tool.
My Masters degree university was available in the drop down list but my Bachelors degree university is not listed.

Will I be eligible for the Canadian equivalence for my masters?

Well, if the free assessment says your Masters degree is equivalent to a Canadian Masters, then I think you are good to go.

If you want to get your Bachelor's also evaluated, mail WES and ask tell them your situation. They'll tell you what to do!

Hi!!

I've received my WES evaluation and it shows:
1. Bachelor degree (4 years) from a recognized institution
2. Master's degree from a NON recognized institution

I also have a postgraduate certificate from a Canadian institution.

What option should I choose for the express entry? Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees? or Master's degree?

Thanks for your help

Your only 4 year degree will be counted to accumulate points..
