Hi,
Im applying for the FSW program and sent in my City & Guilds (post secondary 2 year) qualifications to WES and they have assessed and sent them back as completion of a career training program Canadian equivalent. Surely this cant be right? As the city & guilds qualification i achieved was a 2 year qualification i did after i left secondary school(High School in canada)

Please advise if i can still use one/any of the education points required for FSW or if i use ICAS to get an assessment will they use the same scoring criteria as WES ?

To the best of my knowledge GCSE's are not the equivalent of secondary school / high school in Canada. A Levels are the equivalent of secondary school / high school in Canada. So I think your city & guilds qualifications were correctly assessed and you will get the same scoring if you use ICAS.

hmm thats a real bummer!. looks i dont have enough points for FSW :'(
..by the looks of it i will have a better chance if i apply for a working visa, get full time employment for 1 year or more and then apply within Canada for PR.
