WES: Are bachelor's "transcripts" required if Masters is from India

Hi

I have done my Bachelors and Masters from India.

I want my Master's credentials only evaluated by WES for Express Entry under FSWP. I do not want my Bachelor's evaluated. WES mentions in its website (https://www.wes.org/advisor-blog/wes-indian-credential-evaluations/)

• If your master’s degree was obtained from an Indian institution, and does not fall into the categories listed above, you MUST also submit your bachelor’s degree documents. WES cannot evaluate the master’s degree without the bachelor’s degree.

Do I simply need to send the Bachelor's degree to WES directly (send myself)? Or, does WES want a transcript also (directly sent from the university)?

Has anyone experienced it?

In India, they will only accept transcripts sent directly from the university. Many people have done this, search the forums. You will need to have your bachelors degree and transcripts sent to them.

Yes- For the masters itself, University will need to send the transcripts (that I was able to get from the forum).
However, there is a condition for India that WES mentions:

• If your master’s degree was obtained from an Indian institution, and does not fall into the categories listed above, you MUST also submit your bachelor’s degree documents. WES cannot evaluate the master’s degree without the bachelor’s degree.

Question- I only need the masters evaluated. For this, what do i need to send for the bachelors:
(a) Only the Bachelor's degree (which I send myself) Or,
(b) Bachelor's Transcripts (directly sent from the university)

(b) Is a mammoth task- hence trying to understand if I really need to do it?

WES repeatedly says they will only accept documents sent directly from the institution. This is specific to high-risk countries like India where it's very easy to get fake documents.

You will have to have your bachelors degree documents (this means degree and transcripts) sent directly from your university to WES.

Well- Yes I did read the rest of the page (and again now). It did not specify that "Bachelors degree documents" means degree and transcripts.

But I guess there is no short cut- will have to get the Bachelors transcripts sent trough university :-(

Yes, that's why I suggested you search the forums. Lots of people have been through it. And they do say "bachelor's degree documents".

When you create your profile with WES, they will tell you exactly what they want from you, and 99% of the time they want transcripts.
