i got the same message. i applied 1st of october 2020 for a spousal open work permit .I received the same message yesterday. Kindly may I ask when did you apply and from which country?

What do you mean "got the mail." You will not get a response as processing time is 34+ weeks and you only applied in October. It changes all the time. So expect some response in April. And then you need written authorization to travel, if approved (if Covid continues).
