I received this email a few days ago and I am not sure what it means. I had my application submitted in November and I understand that I am in the Express Entry pool now so correct me if I'm wrong. Also my score is below 400 (I am working on increasing it right now) so there is no way I was accepted.

Also if I update my profile to get a higher score, would it update instantly or would it have be processed?
Yes you are still in the pool. The message was just a system glitch. Your score will be automatically changed if you update the factors that can improve your score. For example if you retake the IELTS and get a higher score which improves your score, the system records this change and its seen in your score increase.
