Weird Case Letter - Requesting Address??

Is this letter something everyone gets? I'm really confused about exactly what the point of it is.

As far as I can tell, there is no action necessary? I guess I can just send them our current address via IRCC webform...?

Is this normal?

I would say if they ask for it, send it .. couldn’t hurt.. send it via web form

This is not normal/not something everyone gets. This is an Additional Document Request where they are asking you to submit Biometrics and Medical results because they haven't received them. If you've done them already and see them completed in GC key or tracker, call IRCC and let them know

That's why this letter is so odd. Of course she hasn't done biometrics or medical. She's actually on her way to Seattle for her medical right now (Requested Dec 5, and appointment made immediately for December 18). As for biometrics... they only requested biometrics yesterday (Dec 17) with the next available appointment scheduled for January 15th.

So I don't really understand why they would be asking about these things already. And then the address thing was kind of weird - the address is on the application? I don't know. I guess I'll send a message via webform to let them know that we were unable to get a next-day appointment for biometrics (sarcasm).

Personally my interpretation was that the requesting confirmation of address was the main point, and the bio/medicals part was boilerplate.

I pretty much read it the same way. I have no idea why they’d be asking for that. But whatever I guess. Government doing stupid things is nothing new! I’ll send them a message, I guess.

We sent a message with our address, and then also dates that medical exam and biometrics were requested, and dates that both of those will be completed.

Got the same letter myself on December 13th. Just gave them the LOE of current address and the medical completion paper.

We have no medical completion paper. The medical exam office sent everything digitally.

I'm just not sure if we're supposed to do anything here? As far as I can tell there is nothing for us to do.

Did you receive both the biometric request and the medical request for examination? if so once your done just upload the results to them, and they will follow up.

Yes, received both requests. Medical was already done, biometrics are next week. There are no results to upload - everything is digital.

When i did my medical request i was given a paper. if you've completed biometrics and it updates in the system just upload a LOE and send it to them explaining the date of completion and that its been updated in the system.
