We got the medical request just now! It was saying that they were reviewing for two days and we got it today.Perhaps a glitch? I think it might correct itself, if not, call them, but it shouldn't be anything to be worried about. Signs that they viewed your application
I would like to get some opinion. We got our biometric request at September 25th and additonal document request. Today wegot medical request and they updated the additional document part to
- The additional documents you provided have been uploaded.
I think the application is going fast isn't it? Any opinions? They are reviewing eligibility now and it says Background check N/A.
Do you think we will get a final decision within 1 or 2 months?
It's hard to say. I would not count on 1-2 months. Eligibility is not completed and the background check hasn't started. You also haven't completed the medical yet. So still some ways to go.

No the sponsor is in Ontario. He will complete the biometrics and medical tomorrow. But isn't it takes a little bit time for them to send medical request after they ask for biometrics? Also we applied for visitor visa too, but it's not updated yet. Maybe they will never give the visitor visa to us since we applied on both programs? Any ideas on that?
The two applications are processed separately.
For PR, you are still in the early stages. I personally would not be counting on 1-2 months to be done. Of course it's always possible you may get very lucky.
Got it, thank you so much for the replies. Do you think our PR application would effect visitor visa? He has strong ties to Turkey. He is working, he has his parents in that city where he lives, he has his vehicle home etc. He just wants to visit me for a month maybe then go back because he has a job. But we didn't got any updates on visitor visa, it's been 65 days.
Did you wait for AOR before you applied for the TRV? Ultimately both approval and refusal are possible. It's really impossible for any of us to say what the outcome will be.
I applied for both in the same day, so no I didn't wait. Of course, I understand. I just wanted to get some opinions.
Today he gave the biometrics and they applied on the GCKEY portal. They started background check. Fingers crossed.
