Hello,

I believe this forum is the best place to ask question related to Canadian University. So here is my question:

I want to know different ways through which I (myself) can finance my masters (Computer Science) studies (University cost) while studying in Canada. I know I have to pay first semester fee by any mean so I have to bring/arrange enough money to pay first semester fee. But I want to pay next semester without depending on parents. Kindly feel free to give opinion. I would like to request to those especially who has passed from this situation and have experience to handle this issue.

One way is to get a loan from your home country.

You can also work a few extra years in your home country before coming to Canada to save up the money yourself.

If you don't have enough funding/money before coming to Canada, then I would suggest that you change your plans and either complete your Masters in your home country or delay coming to Canada for a few years. Otherwise you may be forced to drop out of school part way through your studies and have to leave Canada without completing your education.

You should not count on a part time job in Canada to pay for these expenses. First of all, not everyone is able to secure a job - or sometimes it takes time. Secondly, these jobs typically pay very little (enough to cover some of your living expenses).

Thank you for your helpful reply. I want to ask is there any way that I can get loan in Canada for studies like from Canadian Government, bank or any community based loan (within Canada)?

No. If you obtain a loan - it must be from your home country.
