How do you know your application hasn't been transferred? Have you called CIC to confirm this?

If there is neither a transfer email nor AOR2 isn’t it safe to assume it hasn’t been transferred yet?

I called them last week and they said it wasn't transferred anywhere yet.

@Nidajk , nothing is safe to assume with CIC. There are cases where an e-mail, whether it is SA letter, AOR1 or Transfer letter, has not been received by applicant or sponsor. That is why I asked if ns85 knew for sure.
@ns85 Were they able to give you any more info at all? Normally they would say if something is highly unusual that they would send an e-mail to the agent your file is with or something similar. Or if everything is ok, they assure you that all is well and to wait for communication from CIC.
I would be persistent and call them every week until they do something.

Ya they didn't say there was anything unusual or wrong. But ill definitely keep calling and update here.

I’m waiting for the BFD they say usually cic communicates on that date so taking a chance on that let’s see hopefully they do contact...if they don’t then I will place a call.

I am curious to find out the reason behind this too, if they even say anything at all, but I am sure since SA has been issued already, that there are no problems with applications. Good luck to both of you!

It’s been over 3 months since my application was sent in... and my husband and I haven’t gotten any confirmation that it was received.
Any idea what could be wrong?
Also, if any documents is missing, will they ask for it or will my package be returned? Is anyone having the same problem and has anyone forgotten to send in any documents with package?

Do you know you had documents missing? AOR has taken 3 months or more to arrive for some cases but your application may be on its way back to you if it was incomplete.

I didn’t realize that my dependant’s birth certificate wasn’t sent in until like 2 months after I sent in the application. The dependant will not be traveling with me and I don’t know how I didn’t see the birth certificate wasn’t in the package.
If the package was sent back to me how long would it take for me to get it? Also, wouldn’t they just contact me to provide missing document?

Nope. Sometimes they allow the opportunity to send missing documents in but they often will just return the package to you. You can call and if they have returned it they should be able to tell you.

I really hope they give me the opportunity to send this in instead of sending my application back. I have been completely stressed and I really just want to know what to do next. Any idea of how long it take for me to get the package back if they have returned it?

I just told you what to do - call and see if it's being returned.
