Hello everyone, I started my masters in Canada in Sept 2010 (3 courses, 3 hr/wk each), same for Jan 2011 semester and same for Sept 2011 semester. However, during my last semester which was Jan 2012 to April 2012, I was not full time i.e. I only had 6 credit hours instead of 9 because of the nature of my degree. So would I be considered full time for 2 yrs, and be eligible for the extra 30 points?

You have your masters degree, you will be eligible for the 30 points. It doesn't matter if you finished it in 2 or 3 years.

It can be master or professional entry-to-level practice, provided it is a minimum of at least 8 months in Canada.

Other qualifications (diploma, certificate, bachelor) to be awarded 30 points should be at least 3 years.

What matters is what designation you get, provided it is a minimum of 8 months in Canada.

What if I got 2 diplomas? I spent 2 years on the first one and another 2 years on the second one, and they're both the same NOC but different major,
will they count as 4 years?

Thankss

I think they would ask you your highest qualification, of which you should select diploma of 2 years. Another diploma would not matter. What you will get is diploma designation which is 2 years. If one of them was 3 years, then you would have select the 3-year one in order to get more points.

You will know on Saturday.
