Did you reply to their email address, or by filing and inquiry through their website ?
They never replied to my emails, and no Ecas update at all , not even MR received since jan 30.

Thanks

All what we can do is wait to hear from them.
Good luck, and keep us updated if you hear from them.

Hello Gussj,

I just checked your timeline and was kinda shocked. Your file was received by VO in the middle of July 2011 and they mailed you MR in late January 2011? Wow, that's 6 freaking months!! You had to wait 6 months to get your background checked, that's quite a long time. I heard of people who managed to get their MR 3-4 weeks after AOR letter.

Did they ask you for any additional information?

Anton

Anton,
Yes,
They asked for Police certificate for spouse in December, they confirmed receipt first week of January.
Then they sent MR 2 weeks later.

Anton,
What was the AOR on 28th Feb on your timeline about?
Although I thought my process was considerably fast up till I sent my MR :)

Oh, sorry i got myself confused with all these dates =) you're right, your MR was extremely fast.

The AOR on 28th Feb was that Warsaw Vo has received my application from CIO. I didn't include my spouse's police certificate in the application, so i think they will ask for it too. Hopefully, i will get my MR soon.

Anton

Anton,
Yes have your spouses PCC ready so you can send it right away once they as for it.

good luck, keep us posted in this thread for any updates.

Thanks
GUss

Hey Guss,

Well i think that it wouldn't be a good decision to make a police certificate right now. They should see, that i have made it by their request. So the date of the certificate issued should correspond to their inquiry. Otherwise there is a chance of being asked to make an additional certificate, which will naturally delay the whole process.

The police certificate is valid for one year.
But if it is a local police certifIcate, then It doesn't take much time to have it ready.
If it is an FBI report or from another country, it might take more than 2 months to have it ready.
So you decide based On That.
Hope this helps

hi there :)

Am from Beirut and my original file was in Damascus, then transfered to Warsaw. I got my medicals and sent them in mid November 2011. On my Ecas it says medical examinations received. I still did not receive the PPR or anything else.
I contacted the visa office twice, in both cases they replied that they are doing background checks. Is this normal? And is it possible that my medicals be expired before my visa is issued?

thanks

David,
When did the mR recieved line appeared in Ecas, how many weeks after you submitted MR?
My time line is on the left, still no Ecas update on my MR.
I tried contacting them twice to confirm receipt of my MR they never replied to my emails.
Can you please share your timeline details here, when you applied the first time , category, when your file was transferred .....etc
Thanks
Guss

Hi all, I received my MR on Nov,21,2011 from Warsaw VO and still waiting for the PPR.
