Can I ask you what the processing time was when you submitted your application? I noticed the processing time for the Warsaw office has increased from 8 months to 12 months, yours seemed to have gotten processed much faster than that!

I thi k it was around 8-9 months. Go to Warsaw thread, guys there will tell you more, but generally the reason is Moscow applicants were transferred to Warsaw, and the counted time includes their time in Moscow also, that is why technically it went up, but really apparently not much has changed. It takes 4-5 months to Warsaw VO to deal with ur application still, I think

Our file has been in Warsaw since June 2.... So I.guess that could mean 3 or 2 more months to go. Or did you mean 4 or 5 months after ecas changes to in process

Hello Ashia! Thanks for the information! I read into the forum and it would seem as you said it still takes around 8-9 months, which is a lot better than the 12 months indicated on the website.

I also came accross your questions about the specific guide for the warsaw office that asked for the birth certificate, baptismal certificat OR another kind of proof. What did you end up submitting? My partner (he is polish) got his baptismal ceritificat, birth ceritificat (the two sided version) as well as the natiaional ID I believe. Did you have any issues with that?

I gave them birth certificate, this full version, and i think that's it. Dont remember anymore for sure if I added anything else. But no problem with birth certificate, no problems at all with anyhting.

Do you mind if I ask why it took longer for you to get SA? Did they request additional documents or were they just slow to process it?

It's my second time sponsoring a spouse so I think they were looking into the details of the first sponsorship to ensure there were no surprises. My sponsorship obligation ended in 2006. They didn't request additional documents.

You can get a little more information if you look at the Warsaw spreadsheet in the signature, but it seems as though the processing in Warsaw only took Ashia 4-5 months. If you take a look at the spreadsheet though, it still looks as though most people's applications are being processed within 7-8 months, so that's probably about the amount of time you can expect.

I hope you are right BTW, do you mean 4-5 months since receiving AOR2, since SA or eCAS change to 'In process'?
My wife has got my SA 14 days ago, still no AOR2, that's wht I'm asking about it.

Did you receive an email saying that your file has been in Warsaw since June 2nd? Or did you just get an email saying that your file has been transferred to Warsaw?

I.actually had to.call the call centre and they told me the file was transferred to.Warsaw since June 2 nd. Cic slacked big time on sending us updates on the application status
