What's next? Do they run a security/employer check now?
How long it is from SLU till medicals?

Just FYI
My File no. came on 6 Feb 2015. Medicals were submitted on 28th May 2015, then got a request to submit PCC 2nd time in last week of June 2015. Then Status to changed to DM on 11th -12th Aug. I am going to VFS today.

Will keep you guys updated. I am new to this forum so will take time to learn about different options here to post.

When should I contact CIC?
You must notify CIC of any changes to your application. Examples of changes include:
• Changes in your personal circumstances, such as birth or adoption of a child, a marriage or a divorce
• Change of contact information (e-mail, mailing address, telephone number)
• Appointment or change of immigration representative or designated individual
• Decision to withdraw your application

I believe you don't need to inform CIC if you travel out of your country for few days on vacation after the application has been filed.

Yes they should start running the background checks now.MR can come anytime between now and few months.Hopefully we will all get MR within a month.

Same was the case with me, I was so tensed with this With Game, but had no option.

Don't worry. It would less than a month for you to receive the PPR.
I recieved on the beginning on 3rd week after it changed to DM.

My guess is that, it may take between 1-12 days (on an average)....
I got DM on 22nd Aug 15, still waiting for PPR....think not to be tensed,
just start packing your bags and your Canadian dreams about to come true
in a matter of days....
