It would be advisable to carry partly in cash and partly by Travellers Cheque or DD. If a Visa Officer asks for the POF at Airport we should be well prepared. Cash is carried as we need at least 30 days to open our bank account and to get the DD cleared. Till that time you need to meet lot of expenses for which cash is required. Many of the people who have landed has posted that normally the officers at the airport ask for only amount that is carried by us and not too strict on the exact amount as mentioned in your application. However it is better to be safe to carry the required amount rather than take risk.

My timeline and information are as follows:

• WVO - original
• Application date - 17/10/2014
• PR date - 20/01/2015
• AOR date - 11/02/2015
• eCas status - In process
• No further information/actions yet.....

As I see here, there are a lot of applicants who's timeline perfectly fits mine, although I have not been getting MR yet. It depends on country, I suppose, because I see a lot of applicants who have received their AOR later than me and have received their MR already. I will be waiting for mine Please, let me know if anyone from Latvia here?

Also, how would I put all my timeline on the left side of my profile posts?

Hi All,

I am an applicant from India, did send my application of FSW in November 2014 to Sydney, Nova Scotia. After that, received my file number on 5th Feb 2015. One thing to notice was, I got this email from WARSAW, Poland.

Following to that, I received couple of emails from Embassy of Canada in WARSAW asking for the following:
(1) Scanned or photo copies of my passport (all pages)
(2) my police certificates
(3) proof of address of my relative in Canada
(4) Medical examination report (medical examination is finished)
(5) Pay Right of Permanent Residence(RPR) fees which is $490 Canadian dollars

There are only couple of things that I would like to ask in regards to my above information, I would greatly appreciate for your efforts:
(1) Where should I send the requested documents, means, to Sydney Nova Scotia or to Embassy of Canada in Poland or to the Embassy of Canada in New-Delhi India?
(2) I am using my relative's Credit Card to pay the RPR fees. How will the Embassy will know that I have paid $490 dollars for my application?
As the name on the receipt will show my Cousin's name as I am using his Credit Card, and not my name.

I am looking forward to your replies. Thank you.

Many Pr candidates who have applied from india, for them VO office has been changed to Warsaw or Colobmo. So if email is from warsaw then u need to send all document to warsaw.
You can use anybody's credit card. It is written in the instructions that credit card holder's name on the reciept will not matter much and while paying fees you will have to fill your UCI number.

Time given to submitt medicals is 30 days.
PCC not requested as i have submitted along with the application.

Hello Freiends !!

Got TLU on 2nd May-2015, since then eagerly waiting for DM.

Docs reached on 5th May at WVO (PCC, RPRF DD, Medical Receipts and PP pages).

even No idea about DD transaction.

What could be the reason, (Paid RPRF through DD, PP renewed after application, or PCC not submitted along with initial application)

Kindly suggest when should I get DM?

I got my TL updated on 8th May and docs aslo reached WVO on same day (Medical forms, RPRF fees receipt-paid online, PP, PCC, medical email along with the covering letter). still waitng for DM. can anyone guide me when shall I expect my DM & PPR.
