I heard from someone who heard from someone (long story) who heard from someone working at Visa office that every officer has to process X applications per day, but they do much less than X, because they are government employees on a fixed salary and their income doesn't depend on what and how they do their job. So they better have 10 cups of coffee per day than handle a couple of applications. And most of the backlog is happening because of their "productivity", not because the number of applications.
Treat this information as you want, but I think I believe in that. Sighing...

Nevertheless, I believe in coming-running-rushing PPR:D:D:D

Hi everyone,

What is the general wait for people once transferred to Warsaw VO?
Do they take the full 10-12 months? Or do they move pretty quick?

I had a friend move through it in about 5 days last November for PR without sponsorship.

What's the general consensus with it now? We just had our application moved there Friday, July 19th.

I'm an a Canadian citizen, my husband is Russian.

Our timeline is: (2019)
Received May 9
Aor June 26
Bio req June 27
ECAS DM June 27
Bios given July 1
SA July 2
Med rq July 2
Med given July 10,
Add'l docs rq July 10
Add'l docs given July 19
Moved to VO - Warsaw July 19

Any information would be helpful.
Most of what I've read sounds like 10 months is about right. They've had mine since early June and haven't heard anything since ‍♀️ You can see my timeline in my profile if interested...similar to yours :-)

I'm a Canadian citizen and my wife is Russian. We are about 5 months ahead of you. Our application was transferred February 28, but they didn't acknowledge receiving it until May 3. We are just waiting and nothing has been done. It looks like they haven't even looked at the application since they got it because there is a mistake in what we can view online but we have confirmed the information was received, still nobody corrects the mistake. We are expecting November or December before we hear anything. Maybe it will be a bit sooner but nobody knows.

What additional docs have they requested?

Man, that's disappointing. My friend got a PR pass 5 days after being transferred here. False hope was given. :(
Hi,
this is very interesting information:eek:
During my three-years experience with Warsaw I have never seen any cases even close to three months of processing...
Could you please give me more details, if possible. what was your friend's case?

You know you're obsessed and need a break when you keep receiving pre-arrival letters in your dreams at night :(

For real...it's torture!

Oh I feel you. We are literally just waiting for Aor from Warsaw. What time frame generally are we looking at for that??
In my case, ours was transferred May 23 and we received AOR2 on June 7.

My timeline is in my signature :) file transfer to Warsaw was 3 months since it was received by Sydney. AOR2 came about 2 weeks later

It's really handy to see your pa is Russian too, my husband is... Will be great to compare.
I'm the Russia PA my husband - sponsor, is Canadian citizen :)

There were no issues whatsoever. We got married in Scotland. (We started dating long distance, then moved to Scotland to live together because I have eu citizenship and he applied for some youth program whereby you can get a visa with open work permit in the UK for 2 years). That was the only option for us to live together lol. There was just a risk that the wedding may have been delayed due to the fact we were both foreigners and the home office or something may have looked into it potentially being fraud (?) But no one looked into anything :) we were good.
