@alimbekb I’m just curious. On ecas I can check application only based on sponsor data.
If I fill up a form by primary applicant data it says: application not found or something.
@alimbekb How you check your application on ecas?

Yes I check with sponsor data. I think I tried with PA data it showed only PA in process and didn't show sponsors status.

@alimbekb , @lbft , guys, can you please share your timelines?

Hello everyone,

My file was relieved in Sydney at the end of August 2018. My file was transferred to Warsaw at the start of January 2019. The CIC phone system says that my background check has started. Any idea how long it will take until PPR? Thanks in advance And good luck to everyone

The average processing time is 12 months. From what I can see on this thread as people report, it might be 10 months if you're lucky. So June-August 2019 is about the time you might get PPR.

Does anybody know what would gckey say if eligibility has been passed?
In other words, once they finish the eligibility check, do they update gckey to reflect that it is passed?

Hi. I don't have my own experience, but here's what I've read on another forum:
Note that 'A background check is needed = In progress' is the final step before a decision (for outland applications). Early indications are that this final step takes day or weeks (i.e. not months). When 'Background check' shows as 'In progress', 'Review of eligibility' will also remain as 'In process' (this is not an error, since failure of a background check will affect eligibility).

I guess you will see the change of "eligibility" status only after a decision will have been made.
