Thanks so much! Now, keep your fingers crossed COPR arrives tomorrow or on Thursday (if not, we'll have to take a trip to the Niagra border crossing, which is fine too) - any tips for landing?

Ok, wonderful! So now, here's hoping the COPR arrives tomorrow or on Thursday ;)

By the way, what kinds of questions do they ask at landing? Just curious, don't know what to expect, and I want my hubby to come with me to hold my hand :)

Really not much at all. Just get your information for your card and welcome you. They know how thorough the check was for you to get approved.

The first problem might be your lawyer. Despite how we feel we are close to our lawyers we are one of many clients. Many times I have seen where the lawyer received the information but it did not move forward as fast as we would like. If that is your representative all you can do is drive them crazy asking. With Warsaw they are very efficient and someone should have heard by ten days .

i am pleased to say after all the stress and worries i can happily say last night we received requests for passports :)
but what still amazes me is how you can be turned down to visit 4 times but can come live :)
we are all very happy my daughter finally will meet her grand parents.
my lawyer went out of her way to make sure she notified me as soon as she received very great service

Very happy for you. It is a strange feeling to be told you can not visit but you can live in Canada.

So my COPR arrived! (yay!!!) but I noticed that two things there seem odd. There is something called 'original entry date' and it gives one of my entries to Canada from 2015 but I first came to Canada as a visitor in 2014, and then as a temporary resident I entered in November 2014 (from which time I had my work permit). Same problem with the 'last entry' date, which gives it as May 2016, but there were at least a few more entries when I was travelling (and we applied in October 2016, so I would have submitted entry stamps from, for instance, July 2016). Also, I literally just came back from the US, so technically the date of my last entry is 2.04.2017 - is this going to be a problem at landing? Should I get in touch with IRCC and let them know they made a mistake, or just go ahead and head to the border (I want to land via a land crossing, even though I already live in Canada). Or are these dates somehow meaningful to them? I read through the COPR and instructions there and it only says that corrections to COPR should include misspelled names, passport numbers, declared family members, and date of birth and passport validity date - nothing about these entry dates... so what should I do?

hahaha thanks Sous02, you've become my consoler on this forum! I guess I am worried, because this document serves later for citizenship and even, apparently, for pension so I just want to make sure that all details are correct! Did your wife have a mistake there too? I emailed Warsaw about it, I wonder if they'll respond ;) and I think maybe I'll call CIC tomorrow as well - I want to land next week, if possible!
