Also, a silly question: did you fill in the forms by hand (pen) or on your computers? And if using a computer, did you put any additional information by pen? (e.g. N/A in boxes on the checklist that didn't apply to you, etc)?

I filled everything on the computer (easier to correct the mistakes or add something when you double check all the fields), however I did write N/A by hand in document checklist.

Ok, thanks!

How about my other question: was anyone ask to resubmit a Polish police clearance and did it slow down the processing of your application?

And if there was no interview, did any of you get asked for another one? Did that delay your application?

Hello,

The clearance should be valid until the end of your processing, unless there is an error of some sort on the original or translation.

In terms of filling out, we filled out everything by computer. Remember to generate the bar codes and place them on the top of each document for ease of analysis. For fields that did not apply we put "N/A", for fields where we wanted to write more info we put a comment "per attached", having a word explanation right behind the specific document in question. We typed everything and signed any additional attachments.

Hope this helps :)

Cheers

Hi mia, thanks!

The Polish police clearance is only valid 3 months so there's no chance it's going tobe valid throughout the processing and that is the case for all Polish clearances, although the document itself does not have a validity deadline the Warsaw office i'm sure knows. So i'm going to go with just a square's answer and if anyone was asked for a new one then please share if that delayed your application? If you weren'r, mia, i guess that just means they didn't bother to ask again, which is what i am hoping for myself :)

And as for the filling in, did you write in pen ' per attached' in, eg a box for a date ? (To explain un more detail eg that we dont have a specifuc date for something)?

Hello Lady,

You shouldn't have a problem with the clearance if you send in your application before the 3 month period then :)

As for numerical and date fields, yes black pen to match the colour scheme :)

Cheers

Cool. Did you link your application in my CIC? If so, what it the status?

Hi, I have not linked my app to mycic. Ecas seems to be working for me well enough. I will link the account if I start getting squirrely, Haha ;)

OK. It gives some more details. My wife's status shows "Medicals Passed" and "Eligibility in review". The others not started. Expecting my first set of GCMS notes in a few days.

I have had changes on MYCIC that do not show up on our ecas

I just tried to link MYcic, but because we are using a representative, it did not work. I guess i need to send them a email so they can link it.

I believe you still should be able to link. Register as the pa

Just for your information when trying to link mycic I thought my wife was from Russia but apparently she is from the Union of soviet socialist republic. So if the name of the country is different from birth try that name.

how do you link it?
