Thanks guys and girls
It was one hell of a ride for sure with a lot of sleepless nights. But given the positive result our success is much sweeter
Per the ETA - There is a statement on the website
" Exceptions include U.S. citizens and travellers with a valid Canadian visa. Until September 29, 2016, travellers who do not have an eTA can board their flight, as long as they have appropriate travel documents, such as a valid passport. "
Wouldn't this mean that people holding a valid COPR (valid Canadian Visa) are exempt for it?
Additionally, until sept. 29th you don't need one i think per the 2nd statement. How do you guys understand this?
Update - also found this statement: "New entry requirement now in effect: visa-exempt foreign nationals are expected to have an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to fly to or transit through Canada. Exceptions include U.S. citizens, and travellers with a valid Canadian visa. Canadian citizens, including dual citizens, and Canadian permanent residents cannot apply for an eTA."
Cheers to all!
