Aaaand we have a PPR this morning!!! ;D

Actually, I already knew yesterday that the application had been approved.
Since DM had been showing for over a week with no PPR, I called CIC right after their opening hour and waited on the queue for 25 minutes.
But the lady on that end was extremely helpful to verify that our RPRF receipt had made it into the application, and while at it she also told me outright that the application had been approved and we would be receiving PPR shortly.

What a relief to know that I can now finally go home with my family after 3.5 years of practically living overseas non-stop.
Best of luck to all those still awaiting a decision on their applications!

Thanks, Allo, and congratulations!!!!!!!! best of luck in settling in now :) and congratulations to all other DM-ers recently approved - so great to see you all get your PRs! Also, good to see Warsaw is keeping with what seems to be their trend - June applicants seem to be getting their DMs in 7-8 months, so keep your fingers crossed that they process other applications this way too guys! (i.e. including mine :D :D :D)

Congrats, Allo! 3.5 years is a heck of a time to be apart from your loved ones. :o

I don't think so. As long as you have strong proof, you should be fine. I sent mine a few months after marriage took place, a little over 1 year relationship and was approved even without the interview.

Hi bananaoatmeal, and welcome to the forum!
The lots of proof for a 2-year relationship should be sufficient to satisfy that part of their requirements, and I personally don't think that a recent marriage before filing an application would be a concern, provided that the proof is rock-solid and shows evidence of the relationship being genuine.
As for his removal order, I'd guess it shouldn't have much of a negative impact (if at all) if he had only stayed in Canada illegally while being a minor, i.e. with his parents. You'd certainly want to include that explanation with the application.

Thank you for answers guys. We have lots of different proofs so we are not worried about them questioning our relationship. And congrats Allo, amazing news. ;)

Oh no, luckily we've been together all this time, albeit living overseas in Eastern Europe.
And I've had to make about a dozen trips back to Canada to maintain the house so we'd have a place to move into :)

I went to Warsaw yesterday and got visas stamped into both my spouse's and step-daughter's passports, as well as picked up COPR-s.
The staff at the Embassy was very quick and helpful, so it didn't even take 20 minutes to be in and out.
They also returned all the photographs that we had enclosed as proof with the application, and even offered a few new envelopes of different sizes so I could carry it all away.
Very tired, but what a relief! ;D

I hope it does not take another two months to process our new medicals.

The Warsaw visa office indeed got down to work! I've just checked my cic status and my background check is in progress! :D ;D
Does anyone have a clue how long it might take from now till the decision is made?

You could have a decision made in a few weeks. ;)

Took 3 weeks for our application, but we also had an outstanding RPRF which we were requested to pay.
That itself may have caused a bit of delay, and could've been even faster if we had paid upfront.

Well i got my new GCMS notes, it looks like some progress has been made:
