Congratulations Hei Long! :)

Thank you userpg! Congrats on ur process as well! Do u still have in process ecas status?
They requested passport right away on Friday 25th! I guess because I'm not from visa exempt country.
I'm in Canada already on TRV, so I sent my passport to Ottawa ( option they offered in email) by xpress mail on Friday, hope they received it today...

Yes, I have :)
Now I'm on holiday with my husband :)
That's great! Congrats! Enjoy ur holiday! How landing procedure went?

Congratulations Hei Long! You can start your life in Canada as a fully-functioning human being! Today's Tuesday, which it seems to be the day when Warsaw VO updates ECAS/sends out e-mails so fingers crossed for the rest of us who sent our passports in PDFs :) Let's keep each other updated.
(I even set Warsaw time on my computer, because I'm too lazy to add 9hrs to Canadian time)

So after 4 months of checking ECAS every single day, sometimes twice a day, it gets updated today and I realize that the papers were processing as of May 27th. :o :'( :-X

1. We received your application for permanent residence on March 13, 2015.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on June 2, 2015.
3. We started processing your application on May 27, 2015.
4. Medical results have been received.

Lesson learned: Just submit your papers and forget about it until you hear something. lol

Thank you!

The landing procedure went quite swiftly. The only questions they asked were:
Who's sponsoring you?
Have you ever had any problems with the police?
Is the address on your COPR correct?

Yes, my eCAS says 'In Process'. But I still didn't send copies of my passport cause we are collecting some evidence that my wife has applied for jobs.
Because we didn't expect to get such a request so quickly, she is applying for jobs only now. We are also looking for an apartment to rent and we want to send some emails printed too. She applied for her Canadian credit card today too and we are waiting for a confirmation. We will send our documents on Thursday. I hope it's gonna be enough to proof that my wife is planning to move back and enter Canada with me?

Did anyone else get a request to the sponsor to proof such an evidence? And if so, what else did you send to WVO?
