I forgot to ask you another question, did your wife just inform them via webform that she is in Canada. She didn’t submit a package or anything to the Warsaw VO did she?We haven't received anything at all. Our PPR was on March 25th and since then there has been no communication coming from Warsaw. My wife is in Canada, so she doesn't need to submit her passport but we are still waiting for any further instructions. It's extremely frustrating.
Also they don't respond to our emails unless I am using different ways to communicate with them.
Just wanted to say that my partner emailed Warsaw on Monday morning (following Lisaexpat’s example) and didn’t get any reply so far. I’m assuming they are still working on last week’s emails or so.I just sent them an email on Sunday but haven’t heard back.
Hey Kargosa,We just got our passport and CORP back after 1 week processing (including delivery time)
Upon looking at the CORP, there is a typo, city of birth is missing the LAST letter on it.
Anyone know if this will be an issue?
Yes we are outside Canada. It was done at the local Embassy which is why it was faster. I'm not sure what a typical CORP looks like. It does state it is at the top of the page.Hey Kargosa,
Which office did you receive the COPR from? And does it look like a typical COPR with all the other data, e.g height and eye colour? And you and your wife are outside Canada correct?
I highly doubt it but if you are not planning on travelling soon, you could check with the visa office. Does the visa have the same mistake? We just got our passport and CORP back after 1 week processing (including delivery time)

I thought it might be due to limited space. We do have time so I will check.I highly doubt it but if you are not planning on travelling soon, you could check with the visa office. Does the visa have the same mistake?
One possibility is it's just a mistake/typo, but also some fields on government docs have a limited space for characters.
Usually minor obvious typos like eat/east or Novosibirsk/Novisibirs are not anything anyone will ever pay attention to. I won't blame you if you'd prefer it's fixed though.I thought it might be due to limited space. We do have time so I will check.
There is also a typo on my address listed for Canada, but that one is my mistake on submission. the word east is missing the s so it shows as "eat"
I agree. Well, I will contact the local Embassy with a quick phone call tomorrow to confirm if it will be an issue. It will probably be faster.Usually minor obvious typos like eat/east or Novosibirsk/Novisibirs are not anything anyone will ever pay attention to. I won't blame you if you'd prefer it's fixed though.
Oh right makes sense, but where was the COPR sent from? was it sent from Warsaw or the embassy?Yes we are outside Canada. It was done at the local Embassy which is why it was faster. I'm not sure what a typical CORP looks like. It does state it is at the top of the page.
