Sponsorship application consists of two sub-applications: eligibility of a sponsor and eligibility of a PA. The second one is the major. The first question of 1344 asks what you'd like to do you are found ineligible as a sponsor. You may withdraw your PA application and all fees will be refunded to you, or you can proceed (with very little chance of success) and all fees will be retained.

I got a reply from my MP from the VO.

The eligibility is passed.
Security is in process
Crim in process
Med in process

Not sure why the medical is still being processed. My husband had a medical done in 2017 for a previous application. They have not requested a new one. I know they have the power to extend the old one if they choose.

They are in the process of removing my husband's dependent on the file. They said this is what slowed down the file. But that does sound right. Oh well at this point I don't care as it moving ahead and I am happy!

Wonder what is next? Hopefully near the end!

my wife is born in Russia so i guess its normal but the thing is , my wife is currently living in the USA
why would they send our paper to Warsaw ?? are we going to receive the visa and passport in the US or in Russia ??

why would they send our paper to Warsaw ?? are we going to receive the visa and passport in the US or in Russia ??

I could be wrong and I'd wait for someone to confirm this but I believe the VO that processes the paperwork has nothing to do with where you end up having to submit your passport for a visa. You should still be able to eventually submit your passport from within the US. Where did where did she have her biometrics taken?

Hi did you know MyCIC was updated? Did you get an email or you just logged in and saw some status change on the first page, but on the second page was nothing?

I recieved email from Warsaw office with a request to pay. Then I checked MyCIC, on the first page status was “application/ profile updated”, but nothing changed on the second.
I should receive a Pre-arrival letter next

Awesome!! We also this month got the request to pay the landing fee. We also got the Pre-Arrival letter. Eligibility now passed for my husband and now waiting on security, criminality and medical to finish processing.
