Excellent, thank youThe letter will be in Gckey...called Acknowledgment of receipt. It tells you they have "created a file" for you and will process your app.

That's interesting because from my experience they will not do anything until the 12 month processing time as passed. They will check on it anytime as far as I've read.
Well, I guess they can choose to. That's why I'm sharing the newsThat's interesting because from my experience they will not do anything until the 12 month processing time as passed.
I'm just wondering, wouldn't it be the same result if just to order GCMS notes? If eligibility has passed, the notes should probably show that...Well, I guess they can choose to. That's why I'm sharing the news
Of course you get the same information but ordering notes takes 30 days and asking your MP takes 1 so...do whatever makes you happy. This is a 12 month+ process for some of us. And much of that time, we hear NOTHING at all. Watching others get through the process in 5 months or even 3 makes you wonder why yours would be taking so long...especially if you feel like it is straightforward. It feels amazing to have something to be positive about today.I'm just wondering, wouldn't it be the same result if just to order GCMS notes? If eligibility has passed, the notes should probably show that...
But thank you for sharing your experience anyway.
So, I contacted my MP for an update and found out that eligibility has passed and criminality checks are taking place now. Interesting to note that GcKey still says eligibility in process and we've received no messages at all about eligibility passing. So...contact your MP to get a real sense of what's happening with your app because it might be better than you think!
Timelime in my profile.
Fellow Richmonder going through Warsaw! Very cool. Ours is Joe Peschisolido. Do a simple google search for contact info. His office is near Ironwood on No5 rd. I emailed and heard back from Lucy.May I ask who your MP is? Looks like were from the same city!

It sounds like others were either discouraged from contacting theirs or tried and were told that they had to wait 12 months. If you want to err on the side of caution when you contact this office, let them know if you have any concerns about your app like red flags you anticipate...I wonder if that might make the difference between them saying they will or won't look into it for you????
Regardless, my experience is that Lucy was happy to help and I am at the 6 month mark
Yes! Hanging on for dear life on nothing but hope LOL. What's your timeline so far? That's awsome! He's my MP too! We must be neighbors haha. He actually came knocking on everyones door but I missed him. Thanks for giving us hope!

Hello
Is there still anyone from November-December 2018 applicants that have not heard anything from Warsaw since AOR2? Or is it only me
Definitely a little more slow than some but not crazy yet at least. I'm pretty confused about how it works. It's definitely the case that Indian and Philippine applications are getting through at lightning speed most OFTEN. Canadian citizens aren't getting any preferential treatment as sponsors because those are mostly PR sponsor applications as well. Of course we should all be getting assessed in the same way. It's all very strange to me. I certainly hope you don't end up waiting for 2 years. What a nightmare.November 18, 2018: Application sent

My husband is a student in Estonia. He's originally from Nigeria and when I talked to an immigration laywer who my cousin works with he straight up told me that juat cause my husband is Nigerian his application will take 2-3 years. I was not happy with that statement at all. So yes it is very painful to see other applications get approved between 3-6 months. I really hope Canadian immigration isn't racist as per what the immigration laywer had told me.
Quite frustrating. I am Filipino myself but born and raised here in Canada. And my family keeps asking me what is going on with my husband's application cause all their applications for PR took only a few months. I'm so annoyed at this actually. I know its very difficult for people to get visitors visa to Canada unless you have strong ties to your country and have lots of funds. I know A LOT of Filipinos who use agencies in the Philippines to lend them large amount of funds so they can get their visitors visa. They get approved. But Canada won't look into them because Canada loves Filipinos. It's just not fair. And then there are people like us who just want to start their lives with their spouses yet we're the ones who suffer.Definitely a little more slow than some but not crazy yet at least.
