If you use Purolator or another courier, you send your application to the address provided for courier delivery:

Case Processing Centre – Mississauga
2 Robert Speck Parkway, Suite 300
Mississauga, ON
L4Z 1H8

Thanks! Will send our app tomorrow. Hope for a smooth process

After the five (5) days investigation, they are still unable to find my package. It is so depressing to think that I will probably have to redo the ENTIRE Application. OMG! >:(

When I sent my application requiring signature to OINP using Canada Post, I got no delivered status. Called them, they confirmed it arrived, but to a mail room of a government building where no one signs for receiving docs. Maybe that's the case with you.

MAKE SURE IT IS NOT IN THE MAIL ROOM OF CIC

I had a sketchy experience with Xpresspost recently, too. I paid extra to have an (already ridiculously expensive) certified translation sent by Xpresspost. For some reason it took over a week to arrive, despite being sent from the same city I live in. The tracking said it bounced between five cities, two of them at the other end of the country, and was even marked "out for delivery" in one of them for a few days, before it got back here. I finally got it today and our address was perfectly written, after all. So who knows...

After 2 weeks the 'investigation' is completed and this is the email that canada post sent me:

Please accept our apologies for the unsatisfactory service you recently experienced with Canada Post.

Rest assured we are committed to meeting or exceeding our customer#s expectations by delivering consistently high-quality service.

Our investigation has been unsuccessful in providing a final delivery confirmation for your shipment. There is a possibility your shipment may have been delivered without scanning and therefore is suggested you confirm or deny delivery by contacting the receiver.

Should you require any additional information or have any questions you can reach us by replying to this email

Sincerely,

I contacted CIC and they still did not find my application in their system. The agent suggested that I wait and see if I get an AOR but I read that sometimes CIC does not send AOR, they just send SA. What is the timeline to receive AOR/ SA for inland application? Also, if I redo the application what will happen if the first one was delivered successfully? Will it complicate my processing time? This is such a nightmare. I tried to ask the agent these questions but she gave no definite answers and only suggested that I wait for AOR. I used the webform to email CIC and I haven't gotten a response to date.

I have lost hope that my package was delivered as there is only one SCAN on the package and that was when I gave it to the lady at the post office. There has been no other scan or updates since. A manager at Canada Post told me that there should have at least been THREE OTHER SCANS on the package from pickup to delivery. It's hard to have faith that the package was delivered successfully after three missed scans.

Has anyone had this experience before? please help.

Sorry to hear that Canada Post has lost your pkg. Did you keep a copy of the application? If you did not keep a copy I suggest you wait for the AOR which will tell you if they actually have your application.

Thank you for replying. Yes, I did keep a copy so I'll just have to wait and see if I get AOR. I am starting to put together another application just in case I dont get an AOR in the next 2 weeks. I hope this does not happen to anyone else.

Is this courier mailing address valid even for outland applications?

Hi, yes that's the correct courier address. The courier address is the same whether inland or outland.
