Hi everyone,

Question 1.- Since the asked for my police record redo, the RPRF, and extended my medical......do you think I should still be looking out for an interview? its been a while now still haven't heard anything from Kingston yet.

Question 2.- If I go to Canada now on my TRV do I have to tell them I am there or can I just send my passport over to Kingston once they request it?

Question 1 - It's hard to tell.. but in my opinion, with the sequence of things, the interview seems less likely; but again, that is only my opinion.

Question 2 - This really depends on how they have been communicating with you; If they have been sending you e-mails, then you can pretty much be anywhere and send the passport to Kingston with a prepaid return envelope to send the passports back to where you are. My cousin sponsored his parents and the PPR came when they were visiting him in Canada on a TRV. They never informed them they were there except when the PPR came, they wrote a cover Letter saying they are currently visiting in Canada and would like their passports returned to Canada (they also included a Fedex return envelope addressed back to Canada). They had their visas pasted on the passport and returned to Canada, they flag poled and became PR. It will need to be a judgement call on your side.
