Hello! My name is Shubhdeep and this my first post. actually i'm worried about my further study. Right now i am in INDIA and want to do my higher study in CANADA. I've done my 10+2 (Arts) in 2010 and then i have two years diploma in civil eng. from THE COUNCIL OF BASIC AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION, LUDHIANA ,PUNJAB (Technicalcouncil.org). so please tell me that am I eligible with my previous qualification ? please , I need your help because thus you can save my time and money also .... i am looking for the jan, 2013 session for my Pg diploma course....i have visited to few consultants and they said the following facts:
1. whatever i do....pg diploma course of 2 yrs (16 months) or MBA ...i will get 3 years of work permit for sure and after a yr and half i can apply for PR which i will get easily. moreover, i don't have to do the relevant job and even without a job i can stay there for 3 complete years.

---- thirdly...if i don't get a job from their NOC list or job classified under 0, A or B category, am i eligible and can apply for the PR ?
---- As they have mentioned public universities across the blog, so i was confused whether the statement from the consultant is applicable for PG diploma courses or not.
2. As i am from marketing background and have four yrs of marketing and advertising experience. majorly(3yrs) in advertising, which pg diploma course i should go for, keeping in mind the eligibility for PR ?
---- Consultant told me to go for coop pg diploma course as i will do 6 months paid internship for sure under this programme which will help me in getting job further after the completion of the course. my query is if i don't get the opportunity to do the training for those six months course then will i have to come back and no further extension of 3 yrs will be given to me ? and how easy/ difficult to get these internship ?
queries after getting a job:
3. even if get a job under their NOC list .....is there any limit on the salary amount which we need to earn while doing the job ? for eg: if i earn less then 3000$ per month, then i am not eligible for PR.
4. After how many yrs of work exp, we can apply for PR ?
5. which are best colleges to go for pg diploma course in marketing/ business management which also helps in getting internship too...?
6. are there any govt. / publicaly funded universities too, which are better then the govt. colleges and offer MBA degree in less cost as compared to other expensive universities ?

So, which colleges have you researched and found better than others? I had applied in Douglas College, and got the offer letter too. But i am still confused about taking admission in this college. I have heard it is good, but at the same time i am unable to determine, that on what criteria should we know that a particular college is better than others??
One more thing, you being from Marketing field, can you brief me about what sort of jobs, i may get after doing this marketing management course?? Is this like door to door and field work?? Or there are good opportunities?

i have just started searching for colleges and i have not applied in any college. but as far as i got to know from the blogs, humber and centanial are good colleges.
i have also got to know from people living over there....that all colleges are crap and its jst an easy way to enter canada...but lets hope for the best and go and study.
also i have no idea about what kinda jobs are available over there...but i am in search about these jobs.
