i had applied for study permit in new delhi embassy in general category on 16 th november and its now 17 th day
do anyone knows the processing times of new delhi embassy in study visa under general category

The posted processing time is three weeks. However in reality it can take anywhere from a few days to a few months.

Yes scylla is right, time for study file processing is 3 weeks as mentioned on cic website, sometime they can take more time than this.

If time is taken then probably your file has gone below to others (i think) or generally they send a refusal(my thinking only) as I have seen number of cases on which study visas given in 3-4 days and refusal took more than these day(happened with many including me).

i know one guy who got visa under spp on 36th day. So dont worry just wait few days more, if u ll not get any update, then u can ask CIC also about ur status.

I also applied online 4 study permit under general category on 23 October still waiting

1 month is the waiting time guys so wait for approximately 30 days
